Why pet odor comes back
Urine dries into crystals that reactivate with humidity. A perfumed spray covers the smell for a few days; the crystals stay. Every muggy Carolina afternoon brings the odor back, which is why it always seems worse in summer.
What enzyme treatment does
Enzymes digest the organic material producing the odor. That's a chemical breakdown, not a cover-up. We apply the treatment directly to the affected area, give it dwell time to work, then extract everything out with hot water so nothing sticky is left behind to attract soil.
When the pad is the problem
If a spot was soaked repeatedly, urine reaches the pad and sometimes the subfloor. Cleaning the carpet face won't fix that. We'll tell you honestly when replacing a section of pad is the only real answer instead of taking your money for a treatment that can't win.
